A pie a week for a year. That’s what we’ve decided to do in 2019. Every Sunday, we’re going to make a pie. We’re rotating among the family members to pick the pie of the week, and everyone has a long list of pies they want to try. It must have started in November 2018, when we decided that it was the month to make a lot of pies. We made 14 pies that month (including one on December 1), and we realized a few things. First, there are a lot of really tasty and unusual pies out there. Second, we need more pie pans. So Shelly got a couple for Christmas, and she subsequently decided that the new pie pans needed a lot of use. She proposed a year of pie. Everyone was on board, because: pie!
